Designed to give our students complete hands on music experience. The class will consist not only of lectures but also of recording sessions run by the students. The students will be assigned to a specific job for each session and the students will be expected to cover all responsibilities of their role. The course consisted feature a variety of guest speaker’s form all aspects of the music industry. The students will learn the following concepts: The recording chain; Demos and the Recording process; the nature of sound; Theory basics; Audio Equipment and terminology; Digital Basics; Songwriting/Song structure; Introduction to the Reason, and Introduction to the Pro Tools.
